Identify whether local horst structures correspond to the southern Maria Magdalena Rise

Determine whether either of the two horst-like structures identified along the first approximately 30 km of the TS09b/RTSIM01b seismic profiles (a ~0.5 km-wide horst at ~15 km from the profile origin and another ~4 km-wide horst ~7.5 km to the northeast) corresponds to the southern segment of the Maria Magdalena Rise.

Background

Based on their seismic profiles, the authors observe small horst-like features that could potentially coincide with where the southern segment of the Maria Magdalena Rise would intersect their transects, given its inferred regional position.

Because the southern segment of the MMR is not well defined in extension and length, clarifying whether these specific structures represent the MMR would help constrain its location and structural characteristics in the study area.

References

It is not clear if one of them could be related to the southern segment of the Maria Magdalena Rise.
