Back-reaction as a quantum correction

Published 25 Apr 2012 in hep-th and gr-qc | (1204.5756v1)

Abstract: In this work we will show how the back-reaction can be treated as a quantum correction. The novel semi-classical approach presented here consists in the introduction of adequate quantum corrections into the r-t sector of the black hole metric. Thus, we will obtain corrected values for the temperature, entropy and emission rate, which at leading order coincide with the results in the tunneling frame. We have also applied this technique to the Little String Theory. Interestingly, we have found similar results for the entropy as using string one-loop calculations.
