Scale Invariant Extension of the Standard Model with a hidden QCD-like Sector

Abstract: A scale-invariant extension of the Standard Model with a singlet-scalar and hidden-QCD sector is studied. The scale of electroweak symmetry breaking is generated dynamically in an asymptotic-free hidden-QCD sector, and mediated by the Higgs-singlet coupling. Hidden-QCD pions are stable and can be a candidate of the cold dark matter. This presentation is based on a collaboration with D. W. Jung and P. Ko.
