Torus Actions, Fixed-Point Formulas, Elliptic Genera and positive curvature

Abstract: We study fixed points of smooth torus actions on closed manifolds using fixed point formulas and equivariant elliptic genera. We also give applications to positively curved Riemannian manifolds with symmetry.
