Degenerations of binary Lie and nilpotent Malcev algebras

Abstract: We describe degenerations of four-dimensional binary Lie algebras, and five- and six-dimensional nilpotent Malcev algebras over \mathbb{C}. In particular, we describe all irreducible components of these varieties.
