Solving coupled Lane-Emden equations by Green's function and decomposition technique

Abstract: In this paper, the Green's function and decomposition technique is proposed for solving the coupled Lane-Emden equations. This approach depends on constructing Green's function before establishing the recursive scheme for the series solution. Unlike, standard Adomian decomposition method, the present method avoids solving a sequence of transcendental equations for the undetermined coefficients. Convergence and error estimation is provided. Three examples of coupled Lane-Emden equations are considered to demonstrate the accuracy of the current algorithm.
