A Database of Dorsal Hand Vein Images

Abstract: The dorsal hand vein has been demonstrated as a useful biometric for identity verification. This work details the procedure taken to collect two databases of dorsal hand veins in a biometric recognition project. The purpose of this work is to serve as a reference for the databases that are being shared with the public.
