Chern character and obstructions to deforming cycles

Abstract: Following Bloch-Esnault-Kerz and Green-Griffiths' recent works on deformation of algebraic cycle classes, we use Chern character from K-theory to negative cyclic homology to show how to eliminate obstructions to deforming cycles.
