Some properties of the adjoint of the unbounded operators $TT^*$ and $T^*T$

Abstract: In this note, we mainly investigate the validity of the identities $(TT)^=TT*$ and $(TT)^=T*T$, where $T$ is a densely defined closable (or symmetric) operator.
