Sliding Mode Observer for Set-valued Lur'e Systems and Chattering Removing

Abstract: In this paper, we study a sliding mode observer for a class of set-valued Lur'e systems subject to uncertainties. We show that our approach has obvious advantages than the existing Luenberger-like observers. Furthermore, we provide an effective continuous approximation to eliminate the chattering effect in the sliding mode technique.
