Higgs and coulomb branches from superconformal raviolo vertex algebras

Abstract: We propose a method for extracting the Higgs and Coulomb branches of a three-dimensional N = 4 quantum field theory from the algebra of local operators in its holomorphic-topological twist using the formalism of raviolo vertex algebras. Our construction parallels that of the chiral ring and twisted chiral ring of an N = 2 superconformal vertex operator algebra.
