Complete classification on traveling waves in monotone dynamical systems

Abstract: It is well-known that traveling waves with the minimal speed in monotone dynamical systems are typically categorized into two types: pushed fronts and pulled fronts. In this paper, using a new approach, we identify a general rule for monotone dynamical systems: the pushed front always decays at a fast rate. Additionally, we provide a complete classification of traveling waves based on their decay rates.
