Chiral algebra correlators of the $6$d, $\mathcal{N}=(2,0)$ theory with a defect

Abstract: We revisit the computation of $2$-point correlation functions of $\tfrac{1}{2}$-BPS operators in the $6$d, $\mathcal{N}=(2,0)$ theory in the presence of a surface defect. We focus on the protected sector described by the chiral algebra and reproduce its correlators using a bootstrap approach. A unique feature of this calculation is that we can completely determine the answer by using bulk-channel data only. We, also, perform the operator expansion in the defect channel which provide new predictions for the theory.
