On-shell multiplet structure of SU(N) Yang-Mills fields
Abstract: Color multiplet structure of the gauge fields and fermions on mass shell in SU(N) Yang-Mills theory is considered according to representations of Weyl group W(SU(N)). An important case of singlet dynamical solutions corresponding to one-dimensional irreducible representations of the Weyl group is revised on a firm basis. We demonstrate that Weyl group as a finite color subgroup of SU(N) manifests a universal singlet structure of one-particle Weyl symmetric quark-gluon solutions. It has been shown that Abelian projected SU(N) Yang-Mills theory with fermions admits only one type of a singlet constituent quark dressed in a singlet gluon field. Physical applications in hadron physics are discussed.
