The shared channel frame is a concatenation of NrN_r time slots, split into rr consecutive subframes, where subframe ss has length ΔNs=Ns−Ns−1\Delta N_s = N_s - N_{s-1}, and each group Ci\mathcal{C}_i is assigned an access probability pi(s)p_i^{(s)} per subframe. At each slot, unresolved group-rr0 devices transmit with probability rr1 (else idle), based on a broadcast vector from the base station (BS).

Resolution occurs at the BS using multi-slot successive interference cancellation (SIC): each resolved singleton packet triggers network-wide peeling, recursively revealing further singleton packets and thus performing an AND–OR tree traversal on the associated bipartite graph. At every N slots, nodes observe local AoI and contention statistics, adjust their transmission probability by a perturbation C1,...,Cr\mathcal{C}_1, ..., \mathcal{C}_r6, transmit stochastically, and store recent history. Reflection cycles involve LLM-based semantic processing of memory traces to recommend probability updates, followed by mapping to numerical increments weighted by node priority (C1,...,Cr\mathcal{C}_1, ..., \mathcal{C}_r7), as formalized in: C1,...,Cr\mathcal{C}_1, ..., \mathcal{C}_r8 with final slot-level probability dynamically clipped between 0 and 1.

The learning process combines supervised fine-tuning (SFT) and policy-gradient PPO on reflection outcomes, with MDP state/action/reward structure grounded in network observables and priority vectors. Experiments show system-wide AoI reductions (10–14.9%) over LLM-driven and multi-agent baselines, with HP nodes achieving up to 15–20% faster AoI convergence (Liu et al., 26 Jan 2026). The lock can be tuned for read-dominated, write-dominated, or balanced workloads by explicit configuration of N1<...<NrN_1 < ... < N_r6, N1<...<NrN_1 < ... < N_r7, and N1<...<NrN_1 < ... < N_r8. Performance modeling on HPC hardware validates throughput benefits: manipulating N1<...<NrN_1 < ... < N_r9 (node-level handoffs) improves throughput by ≈30% under contention, while increasing NrN_r0 doubles reader throughput at low writer fractions (Schmid et al., 2020).

4. Priority-Based Ramaswami Recursion for Two-Class Priority Queues

For continuous-time, multi-server queueing systems with preemptive priorities, the Ramaswami-type RMA recursion efficiently computes time-dependent and stationary distributions for two-class NrN_r1 models. The process state is NrN_r2, denoting NrN_r3 low- and NrN_r4 high-priority jobs, with blocking generator structured into "levels" indexed by NrN_r5.
