Knowledge Ecologies in International Affairs: A New Paradigm for Dialog and Collaboration

Abstract: To have command over increasingly complicated social, political, economic and environmental challenges, fragmentary knowledge, or rather the simple accumulation of basic research is inadequate (Kim). International affairs professionals operating in government, academia and the private sector are progressively more aware that access to, and the blending of, interdisciplinary policy-related knowledge is critical to effective problem solving and decision-making. But how can one do so effectively?
